Why Our Approach Works
Many schools have invested in social-emotional learning, but most programs often miss the unique experiences of Black and Brown girls. When girls don't see themselves reflected in what they're learning, it becomes more difficult to build trust, connection, and a sense of belonging.
At Pretty Brown Girl, we believe confidence, belonging, and leadership are foundational to student success. That's why our culturally responsive SEL and leadership programs are intentionally designed to help Black and Brown girls feel seen, valued, and empowered to thrive.
